What I process and why
- Visitor analytics, only with your consent. Google Analytics 4 processes pseudonymous identifiers stored in cookies, device and browser data, approximate location derived from the IP address (the IP address itself is not stored), the pages you visit and actions such as downloading the CV or clicking a contact link. Purpose: to learn what works on the site. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and § 89(3) of the Czech Electronic Communications Act, No. 127/2005 Coll.).
- Messages you send me. When you email or call me, I process your contact details and the content of your message to reply, prepare an offer or enter into a contract. Legal basis: steps towards and performance of a contract, and my legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- Technical logs. Each time a page loads, my server and the Cloudflare network process technical data (IP address, time, requested address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running the site securely (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Cookies and browser storage
Without your consent nothing loads from Google and no analytics cookies are set. Fonts and scripts are hosted on the site itself.

- Google Analytics data: 2 months.
- Google Analytics cookies: up to 2 years, unless you delete them or withdraw consent sooner.
- Your choice in the cookie bar: 12 months, then I ask again.

Your rights
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Just send me an email.
You can withdraw your consent to analytics at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Withdrawing deletes the Google Analytics cookies and stops further measurement; it does not affect processing that happened before.
If you believe I handle your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Czech data protection authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7.
Effective from 15 October 2026.
